Dual Diagnosis

Home » Workstreams » Substance misuse » Dual Diagnosis

The national CSIP programme was established in 2005/6, and focuses on recommendations from the NSF 5-Years On report. For 2005/6 the programme is defining Capabilities for Dual Diagnosis working, which will underpin wider training initiatives through 2006/7.

It is working closely with the HealthCare Commission on developing indicators for the proposed Annual Healthcheck for NHS Trusts 2006/7.

The programme has established regional leads throughout CSIP, and supports practitioner networks across the country. During 2006/7, the programme looks to work strategically with other areas within CSIP and beyond, with particular emphasis on criminal justice, prisons and NTA.
